Vocal recording isn´t so simple like it sounds.
To record high class Vocals u need a lot of experience.

The Most important think is a microphone.

If u want distorted vocals maybe a headset will do but to record clean vocals u need a recording microphone.
About 150€ should you pay for a good one.

if u record the vocals you have to try some plugins to make the sound "better". It doesnt exist a "right" or "wrong" way you have to try what sound good.

To make Dark vocals you have to pitch them down.
And now try some different plugins like
a little bit distortion, delay, reverb, chorus, ...

Play with your voice. Make some more records of the same vocal.
You will see each time it sounds different.

Note the most important thing is the start stuff.
If the clean recorded vocal doesnt sound good you cant put any effects on it an it sounds good.

Maybe i have time later, than i will make some examples.
