NuStyle Invasion Vol. 3 - Feedback

I am your local customer, I purchased a lot of your products (all the NuStyle Invasions + the latest one, Vol. 3).

Overall, good job. You're doing a great service to the community, which has no libraries and no toolkits for NuStyle. So thanks a lot for all you do, it's very important and appreciated.

If I can give some feedback. The kicks are nice and I use them all the time. However they sound a bit different from the commercial standard set by Noisecontrollers, Frontliner, Pavo.

Your kicks have too much distortion, and not enough "simple" bass. Their kicks don't have a lot of distortion, but they have more simple bass.

In the track, when a too-distorted kick hits for 70% of the track, the listener will get tired very quickly because it's just too loud and uncomfortable for the ears.

But their kick doesn't hurt the ears because it's not too distorted, it's "plain". Just a simple sidechained bass note (maybe moog-bass) would work. For example, here's Pavo - Classic, where the NuKick hits later on in the middle section, and it shows exactly what I mean (just the bass and no distortion):

OVerall I'm using your samples in my tracks and am very happy to have them. The listeners like it. But if it could be improved just a little bit more, with the suggestion I gave (less distortion and less heavy), it would be perfect.

If Shock Force would reduce the "heavy" thing and would pull out the Distortion, what would it sound like?

Honestly, the commercial things the "BiG" Names are producing........
.....this is no HARDstyle this is WEAKstyle!

I like the Pitched Bass Stuff very much, especially the stuff from Shock Force
because its HARD and POUNDING!

thanks for being our valued costumer and enjoying our packs.

i understand that our kicks are not exactly like noisecontroller etc.. but we dont want them to be because we want to create our own touch. the kicks may indeed have much distortion but they have been mastered well so if you have a good sound installment they dont hurt your ears.

and like overdrive said, if we remove the distortion it would sound like simple techno while nu style needs to be hard deep and pounding in our opinion. but hey.. maybe we will create a softer packs for people/customers who are into a bit softer styles.. thanks again for being our customer and keep kicking the bass
