|
|
Ive been experimenting with vocal effects, and ive tried my damndest to emulate the effects like this one
http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/12/18/526177/Vocal%20Effects.wav
Ive tried it with slicing, and used a vst called glitch, but cannot seem to emulate it.
Any tips would be cool |

hi,
what effect do you want to emulate?
the only thing i can hear is slicing.
the vocal is sliced and then it makes a very basic hc rhythm pattern.
maybe add some subttle chorus and/or delay.
with some subttle automations, and you have it!
Glitch doesn't seem really appropriate in this case.
if you don't wan't to slice it, you can achieve similar sounds by looping and then gating the voice to your taste, but the result will not be exactly the same.
so, slicing is really the easiest and best way to do it!
hope it helps.
cheers.
