The most important thing is the Handling.

i use reason and FL producer edition.
i use FL for it's VST plugin synths that are great and i use reason, cos it just gives wicked sounds.
i tend to edit leads and melodies in FL, but i may end up just stickin to reason unless i need a VST synth sound. _________________

Currently I use something called REAPER. It's free, supports VSTs (meaning I can use pretty much any sound I want), and it's very easy to use, although it has loads of functions.
Sometimes I switch to FL, but I don't seem to be able to make the same sounds using it.
I'm saving up for a Mac and Logic though, so it will become my production equipment in some months time. |

well i totally agree on that!
in my case with a midi-board and adobe audition, recycle and refill packer .
if you can't make anything with it,that sounds like music .....welll quit!
the sound and samples are unlimited in use an the linking and side-chaining of devices is unlimited for 90% of all electronic music even with standard refills and samples.
it wil never happen with a GM standard-sf2
the only limit is your cpu prosesors...and your own creativity.
